dishwasher will not drain. motor runs and wash cycle works fine. During drain cycle motor runs and solenoid drops but nothing happens. I have checked for clogs in the line and disposal and have found none. What cound be the problem?

I can think of two things.
Check the piston and Nut assembly Item 564 in Section 2. It is under the screened cover at the back inside the machine, it unscrews.
If it does not seal during drain water will be diverted back into the tub instead of out the drain.
The wash/drain flapper valve on the solenoid linkage may have come loose.
Also there is often a black seal in the center of the flapper that may be missing so all the water does not go out the drain.
