230 volts hit the dishwasher circuit and the dishwasher is dead. Is this fatal or can it be fixed? What parts would fail? the circuit board? Is there a fuse or power supply I can check?

im curious, being a electrican how did you get 230 volts to your dishwasher. its got to be fried?
This is the way our electrician described it. We are in a park model house in Florida. We are serviced by a 50 amp supply. The recepticle in the outside box we plug into had a lot of corrosion so we lost our ground. Somehow this will combine the 2 115 legs to 230.

Once you get into the door, the damage should be pretty obvious. Normally, I would suggest a replacement board AP3958565. But I would recommend to you that you start by carefully examining everything electrical on your machine, beginning at the power hook-up. If you see any charred or burnt through wires, you may consider replacing the machine.
im going to say by the time you replace what ever was fried by the 230 you could probaley buy a new dishwasher im surprised the electrican couldnt be more helpful

The good news is that it looks like they have had problems with the keyboard and control board so have a kit and you get both for a very reasonable price, Item 905 in Section 1. Click on the picture to see what you get in the kit.
The pumps can be checked by hooking them up to a line cord and giving them a try.
Do not run them too long as you can burn out seals, if they run too long when dry.
Another thing to check would be the wax motor in the dispenser usually around 500 ohms.
Also the water valve I am not sure what it should read but as long as it is not 0 ohms and has continuity it is probably OK.
