Dishwasher soap dispenser not opening

The dispenser for the soap will not open so the dishes are dirty because they have not been washed with soap.

Open the door. Turn the timer knob to “off”. Close the dispenser door and slowly turn the timer knob for 360°. Did the dispenser door open?

No Gene, The dispenser did not open. I could hear a spring or something though.

Remove the inner door panel, take the dispenser apart and diagnose the problem. You can find the disassembly instructions in the Service manual.
