dishwasher was not filling with water. I procured part WPW10327249 from Appliance parts pros and replaced. However, still the same issue. Wondering if there is anything else i might try?
There should be a float at the bottom front right of the tub. It is common for items to get stuck underneath this float and prevent it from moving down to engage a leak sensing switch. If the float is able to move up and down freely, and there is no debris, the next step would be to test the float switch underneath the tub after turning the power supply to the dishwasher off. It can be tested for continuity. If it has continuity while the float is activating it, and if there is not a water supply issue (such as a kinked hose or supply valve turned off) or a damaged wire, then the main control would be the likely cause of failure.
