Dishwasher not draining

[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=3]My dishwasher will not drain. I checked the air gap, the drain hose, (which goes directly into the disposal), and the basket grate (which is clear of debris).[/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=3]The dial cycles around okay like its running.[/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=3]Any money saving do-it-yourself repair suggestions would be greatly appreciated.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Remove the toe panel and check the drain solenoid (on the left side of the motor).

I checked the solenoid and it read 40 on the multimeter.

I can actually watch it go up and down when I turn the dial.

Thanks for your suggestion. Do you have any others??

If the pump runs and the solenoid moves then there is a clog somewhere in the drain line.
