Dishwasher Leaking

After a wash cycle they soapy water is discharged and it is free-flowing down the lower front of the machine right next to where the wire harness enters the base of the machine. It does this after the clean cycle and then the rinse cycle.

[SIZE=3][COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]This sounds like a soap problem, either a small amount of non-dishwasher detergent has accidentally entered the washer or your using one of those 3-in-1 action packs. If you are using the 3-in-1 action pack stop and see if the leak goes away because I have seen this kind of soap cause dishwashers to leak a lot. You can dump in a gallon of vineger to remove the soap and foam.

Here is the parts breakdown

Open the unit up half way through a wash cycle
Check for suds. A little bit of froth is normal but if you have suds then it is a soap problem.

Check that all the holes in the spray arm are clear. Sometimes you can get a partial plug and it will spray at a weird angle and cause a leak.

Check that the filter on the tub floor is laying flat. Again sometimes it can redirect the water and cause a leak.

Check that the water is actually leaking out of the tub or is it leaking out of the door’s outside panel

Check #49 in the Door section of the above parts breakdown.
