Leak down Stand pipe…have replaced float and standpipe …still leaks during wash and rinse cycles.
Remove the float, and remove 1/8 in.(from the end of the float) at a time until it stops leaking.
the end of the float is a slim rod with a stopper head on it.
The SMALL END!!!(or the BOTTOM)
the bottom of the float has a slim plastic rod with a stopper shaped end on it. The rod does not detach from the float. If I cut 1/8th of an inch of of the end, i will be cutting the stopper end off which will prevent it from going through the end of the float to the cutoff switch without hanging up on the shoulders of the guide.
If you cut 1/8 off the float it will lower the water level about 1/2" in the tub, which will stop your leaking problem!!!
Did not work.
