Dishwasher help

I think I need a fuseable thermostat (repair guy said that is problem…part is no longer available) part # AP2919741 Whirlpool # …or alternate way to make machine work.

THX

Here is a tech sheet

https://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Tech%20Sheet%20-%209742248.pdf

Unless the tech actually measured it and found it blown I would not trust an over the phone diagnosis. Measure it with a meter should be 0 ohms at room temperature.
Also check the heater, should be around 15 ohms.

Remove it from the machine and post any numbers you can get off of it perhaps someone can cross match it. A magnifying glass can help read them.

THX…it is blown…I have posted the part #…is there any way to wire around this? or an alternate part?

Are there no other numbers on the fuse.
I cannot even try to cross it without this info.

Kitchenaide does not make the fuses and there should be manufacture’s numbers on it.

This is a safety device so must be replaced.

Perhaps someone else has a solution.

Need this part. Did you find a workable substitute?

Without manufacturer’s numbers off the thermostat I cannot find any tech info on it.

You may want to contact the parts people at AppliancePartsPros, perhaps they can help.
