if the water does not drain out at the end of the cycle, there is a problem with the pump or the drain is restricted. Start at where it attaches under the sink and work your way back to the dishwasher. If you hit cancel\drain, will it pump all the water out? If it does, the drain system is good, there may be water backing up from the sink into the tub. That would be an issue with the way the drain hose not having a loop under the sink to keep that from happening.
If we hit cancel/drain, it pumps all the water out. But for some reason, it doesn’t seem to transition to the next cycle, which I guess is rinse/dry?
The only thing I have seen in past service calls is that the pump fades out. What I mean is the pump runs fine for several cycles, then after a while, it gets hot and does not continue to perform well. I would consider replacing the drain pump before the control at this point.
