Dishwasher blade dispenses water, but does not turn

I have a Kenmore Dishwasher – Quiet Guard Standard. It dispenses water, but the blade does not turn. I was able to watch the cycle with the door open by inserting a butter knife in the lock. :confused: Please help!!

Hi Janis,

Check if all holes in the spray arm are open. Check the water level inside the dishwasher. It suppose to be at least 1 1/2".
