Dishw Dispenser Door Doesn't Lock SHU6806UC/UC12

I have a Bosch SHU6806UC/UC12, FD8203140057. The soap dispenser door will not stay closed. I removed the dipenser door:

  • Spring looks good
  • Blue plastic hook latch looks good, no sign of wear
  • Door looks good where the blue hook latch catches it
  • There might be a slight bow in the dispenser door, not sure

The door replacement is easy…however if I have to replace the blue latch, how is that done?

Thank you! But how do I replace the detergent cup latch? I’m ok with the door and spring, but can’t figure out how to remove the latch.

Have you tryed to do it? I believe as soon as you will do it you’ll see how it goes.

I have not. It seems very tight. If I try to pry it up, the force I have to use seems like the lever will snap. Do I just pull it out with a pair of pliers?

Remove the outer door panel to see and access the dispenser. I hope it will make it easier.

I’m not sure what you mean? Does the broken latch come out by prying? And the new one sanp in place by reinserting it?
Or do you take the front cover off the dishwasher and manipulate the dispenser in some manner? Any photos or diagrams available?
