Unit is leaving water behind at the end of each cycle. If I do a full several cycle wash . I’ve got a gallon of water left from accumilation. I have water pumping into the disposer though it seems a little weak.
The disposer , air gap , discharge hoses , pump , antisiphon , strainer basket are all clear. I also inspected the rubber diaphrem on the pump housing, this also appeared fine . I even installed a new impeller kit but this did not help.
I could use and would appreciate some good advice. I have 208 of these at my apartment complex and this seems to be a problem here.
Could excesively high water pressure, a low RPM motor, or an out of wack timer cause this ?
It sounds like you have pulled the pump right apart and checked it.
I would look again at the soil settler area and the drain valve.
I think I would disconnect the drain hose ate the air gap and drain it into a pail just to eliminate the hose plumbing as a cause. Be sure to hold the hose securely in the pail and put a towel/rag over the top to ensure water does not splash all over.

High water pressure - I would doubt this unless the unit is overfilling.
Low RPM motor - if the unit is washing well and the wash and drain motor speeds seem the same then I would also doubt this.
Out of wack timer - possible but it is a mechanical timer so I cannot really see how it could shorten the drain cycle.
Sorry I cannot be of much help but you seem to have done a fairly complete job of troubleshooting so all I have is a couple suggestions.
Thanks i’ll check it out again. Not sure what the soil settler area is, and this has an anti siphon type plastic ball valve on it. Is that what you mean by Drain Valve ?
Was not 100% sure on your pump design.

I had taken this apart and looked at it. From what I saw there was no problem…no obstructions , holes etc. Can the diaphram get weak or too soft ? It seemed alright.
