The detergent door will not stay shut. Do I need to replace the whole assembly or just the spring?

Do you think it is possible for me to replace the detergent unit myself or do I need to have it done professionally? Thanks for your help.
i do not know your capabilities, you have to remove the front door panel with a torque screw driver, the dispenser is held on by clips.
