The pic below shows the freezer and fridge temperatures cycling every 4-6 hours. the freezer temp had a min of 10 and a max of 44
Dbchamblee, it looks like the system is going into a defrost cycle every 6 hours of compressor run time, which is normal. However, the length of time it is taking for the system to cool as it is would be excessively long. In the compressor section, are the condenser coils clean of dust? If they are, the freezer section back panel would need to be removed to inspect the evaporator frost pattern. Would you be able to provide a picture of the evaporator after the system has been cooling for about 30 minutes to an hour? This can help identify what might be occurring.
Yes, that’s the first thing i did was clean and vacuum everything i could access from both the front and back. I’ll try to get a pic of that. Thanks.
Unfortunately, that frost pattern would indicate that there is a sealed system issue. It would likely be a freon leak, but an EPA-certified technician would be necessary to repair the appliance.
