I have an oven control board (Y0308481) from a Caloric oven (RST376) which is acting ‘flaky’.
For example, I hit the BAKE button, then I turn the oven CONTROL KNOB’ - it does not always go up to the temp that I want it to go. Sometimes the temperature display will stop at 170 degrees, instead of going to 325. Then when I turn the KNOB to go higher temp, the LED display just toggles from 170 to 175, to 170 to 175, etc. Other times the CONTROL KNOB will turn the temp straight to 325 degrees.
Sometimes, if I wait 10 minutes - I can turn the know to a higher temperature. Other times the knob works fine, and goes to 325.after hitting the BAKE button
I have the same issue with turning the knob for other settings, such as setting the clock time - it won’t change the clock setting sometimes, other times it will
Sometimes, after using the oven, if i hit the CANCEL button, it will turn off the oven, Other times it will not, and I have to unplug the oven to stop the bake cycle.
Is this a problem with the control board? Could there be grease built up inside buttons? Or maybe the wiring going to the control board? Or, something else?
How can I diagnose the problem?
It seems these boards (Y0308481 / Y0300761) are not longer for sale.
