I bypassed the defrost thermostat and wired those two wires directly. Everything worked fine, evaporator fan was running (did not have sheet metal cover installed over evap), got an emergency call and came home two hours later to find the unit off. Cabinet lights work when door opened, has power. When I plugged it in this morning, just cabinet lights, no comp, cond. fan or evaporator fan; should I check defrost timer? Thank you
