The circuit board is burnt at the “con2” connector, the connector for the wire harness at that point is melting. I’m assuming I need to replace the circuit board. Is that true? (see also my last question)
The wire that leads away from that spot looks slightly melted but still has structural integrity and the wire is not exposed. The connector is melted but also has structural integrity and has not exposed the connectors. Can I continue to use that wire harness?
That same wire goes to a module labeled “microtemp” so I’m assuming it’s job is to prevent this exact situation from turning into a fire. How do I test that this part is ok?
And finally, what is likely the root cause, I don’t want to replace these parts only to burn them out again immediately.
