Burner won't fire up

While moving 6 years ago we managed to drop the dryer about 6 inches just enough to break the ignitor so I used my old spare dryer ever since and let the Westinghouse sit in a dry corner of the basement for the past six years until the old dryer bit the dust the other day. The dryer had very little use before I stored it away maybe 2 or 3 years.

I went out and bought and installed the new ignitor but now the ignitor works but I’m getting any flame! It was working fine before the move 6 years ago! The gas is hooked up and turned on correctly; everything seems to be running correctly just no flame! What could be wrong?

PS

All the wires were reinstalled correctly (I think) The two wires going to the burner assembly I remembered as a point as “red on right”

The first thing I would check is the gas shut off valve inside the dryer (#12 on the burner break down diagram).

If this is not the issue and the igniter goes on and off, replace the coils on the gas valve.

If the igniter stays on all the time then replace the flame sensor (#24 on the burner break down diagram).
