Brand: Bosch Model Number: SHX7ER55UC/50 Main Symptom: Water fills after cycles ends What happens & when: When the dry cycle ends there is no water in the tub. All is good. If I do not run the machine within a couple of days, the tub will fill with water. Water is clean. I can run a reset to drain the water, but it does come back if left long enough (a few days)
Error Code (if any): None
Parts or tests already tried: I turned off main water supply. Did result in less water, but tub still slightly filling with clean water.

If the washer is filling with water on its own, it sounds like you may have a bad water inlet valve. A faulty inlet valve can get stuck open, allowing water to continue flowing into the machine even when it shouldn’t.
I’d really suspect that the dishwasher’s water inlet valve ( Bosch 10023852 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve | Genuine OEM Part ) is leaking by. The fact that you’re still getting water in the tub after shutting off the household supply valve also makes me wonder if that supply valve isn’t sealing completely.
A simple way to test both at the same time is:
Turn off both the water supply valves.
Disconnect the fill hoses from the dishwasher.
Watch the supply hose for a few minutes. If you see continuous drips, that household shutoff valve is leaking and should be repaired or replaced.
While the hoses are disconnected, leave the dishwasher sitting for a while. If you still observe water collecting in the bottom let me know

I am fairly certain that its the Bosch’s inlet valve as well. However, looking at the schematics for this machine, Bosch is telling me that the necessary part is this: Aquastop Hose 00674387. What am I missing? Here is Bosch’s parts site: Replacement Parts - SHX7ER55UC/50 | BOSCH US
