Bosch no water comes in drain motor runs

My drain motor runs continuously but no water comes in to the tub. Don’t know if it is the float assembly or it needs a new water inlet valve. How do I tell?

Pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet. Remove the left side panel. Check the water fill assembly as instructed in the Manual (pages 91-93). Post the results.

Thanks, I did the above but decided that since the dishwasher was over 10 years old to get a new one as much as that goes against my grain.
