Hi there
We have a Bosch SHU5316 which has worked well apart from the usual control module problems. Recently though, it decided to pour water all over the floor. Looking at the bottom door seal, it was obviously split, so I ftted a new one. At the same time I cleaned out all the gunk from the plastic water matrix and generally cleaned everything to do with filling and draining.
First wash, no problem, second wash - water all over the floor again. I realise that the bottom door seal is not exactly a seal - more to stop splashing and the problem is that there is too much water going in the tub. Now I’ve checked the float & flow (pressure) microswitches - both measure fine on an ohmeter. The float switch starts the pump running ok, so I suspect that there is some issue where the pressure switch or the module are not switching off the water solenoid.
So the tub fills up too much and water seeps past the lower “seal”.
Has anyone seen this before and any ideas on what to check next?
Thanks
