The agitator on my Maytag washer has started banging during the wash cycle. It doesn’t happen during the spin cycle. It happens when it reaches the stop before changing direction. Any ideas on what is causing the issue and/or what parts I should consider changing to fix it?
Did you ever get an answer on this? Mine is doing the same thing. Replaced the tub bearing, seal and associated washers, the suspension rods and the rubber damper straps. Still have the same.problem. but it works fine in delicate mode so weve.just been using that.
