all else works except the agigitator How do I remove the agigitator off the drum so I can see if any thing is stuck

There is a screw on the side of the bottom half of the agitator that you need to remove.
Thankyou I removed and cleaned up but nothing stuck under. Still would like to know why the the agigtator does not work and if it is an expensive repair
