Having issues with my front loading maytag (MAH6700AWW). Getting error code 0E, which is not listed in the owner's manual. Finally, through Google, found an old posting in the forum that described EXACTLY the same problem. Error 0E and water keeps filling the drum until I turn the machine off AND turn OFF the water. So, the technician on the previous forum suggests that it is the water valve and supplied a link for the tech sheets to the MAH8700A, which I did download and study. However, I would like access to the MAH6700AWW tech sheets, since that is the model that I have. 8700 sheet suggests to check the valve to make sure that it isn't stuck. How does one do that, anyhow? Also, from looking at the parts list for 6700 I see that there are TWO valves...how do I figure out which is malfunctioning?

Sorry, for the longwinded story, here. Believe me, I've summarized to the best of my ability and it just KILLED me to do so!! :p

Yes if unplugging the unit does not stop the filling and you have to shut the taps off then a water valve is sticking open.

If shutting the hot water off at the tap stops the filling then it is the nhhot valve that is shot.
If it does not stop then it is the cold.
