The refridgerator starting making a clcicking sound-that seem to come from the ice maker auger . We come and go at this house,and do not always use the ice. We also turn the water off to the house when we leave,in case a pipe would break. So we dumped it and it would quit making the clicking noise.Then it started again and comes and goes away.
Then it just kept clicking and would not stop-then if finally just quit working.
We had a recall part on our dishwasher and had the Sear's repair man there to fix that .I ask him what he thought on the refridgerator,and he said he felt it was a circuit board than can be removed and installed again.
Never had any trouble with the refridgerator till now-we would like to repair it if we can.
Do you have any idea's as to what the problem could be ?
