Washer fills on wash cycle and rinse cycle and won't stop filling!

You need to pull the drain hose out on the pipe some. You said drain hose is hooked to a faucets. Those are your fill lines. Pull your hose out and hold in your hand and start the washer with the hose end above the washer.

I totally agree. It sounds like the machine is merely drain siphoning while filling.
Very common problem.

I need some help with a Maytag model LAT9416AAM washing machine that does not stop filling even if I unplug the machine...I have to turn off water valves...can you help me...also the level switch is possibly out because the switch can be on mini load and it fills the machine up with water no matter what is selected......

Most likely the problem caused by the water inlet valve which stuck open. The water inlet valve has to be replaced. In order to provide the right part number for the water inlet valve I need the serial number of the washer. Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag washer Model LAT9416AAMGene.

The only possible problem is the inlet valve hanging open.
