yes I have a washer that started making a clicking noise when it would wash and then it would do it when it started in the spin cycle but when it would get so fast it would stop..Last night we went to use it and it filled up with water but when it started its wash cycle it made that noise but louder and then it just quit. It would not wash or spin. I turned the adjatator a quarter of a turn and then plugged it back up and then it spinned out still making that noise but after it done that it will not spin nor wash the adjatator will not move. I had a friend of mine that told me that the washer had a part in it toward the bottom of the transmission that it was about the size of a quarter or a half a dollar and it had small bearings in it and that probably one of those bearings had come out and just replace the part and that I could replace it going from the bottom of the washer. any help would highly be appreciated

You are going to need to take off the front panel. You do this by inserting a screw driver or thin putty knife in the gap between the top and and front near the edges and releasing the clips that hold on the front.
You can now try to turn the transmission pulley by hand. If it is difficult, which I think it will be, the problem is likely a failing transmission.
