The lid has fallen apart twice. We bought the 5 year extended warranty. They will replace with the same lid that will break apart. Because Maytag doesn’t care. Maytag hasn’t fixed their defect!

I can't believe there hasn't been a recall , love to know how many of these machines have had broken lid/ hinge. tthe price to buy a repacement part is astronomical at $355.00 plus shipping and tax not to mention installation
