Hello to all, I have a Kenmore Laundry Center that is leaking at what I suspect is the tub seal. After one repair tech and Sears saying they will not repair something that is disassembled, I'm at a loss as to how to remove the plate that holds the motor and transmission. According to the manual, not the service manual, just remove the screws holding it to the outer tub and lift off. The tub nut has been removed. I've tried prying it off the tub, beating the shaft from inside the tub and still it will not budge. Is there a special tool I need or something else holding the inner tub to the shaft that isn't described in my paperwork?
