I have replaced my GE Profile SpaceMaker JVM3670sf001 microwave’s turntable motor once or twice over the past 10 years without any problem. The previous motor has quit working after 2 years. Now I have tried two new motors and neither will turn when the microwave is turned on. The motor connector shows ~17V when the turn table button is pushed on and 0V when I turn off the turntable button. The light and fan both work just fine.

Any suggestions? Does ~17V sound correct? If 17V is correct then I’m not sure why the motors will not turn since my meter clearly shows 17V at The connector.

Any suggestions would be appreciated since I don’t want to replace an expensive Microwave if it is some minor.

Thanks
