My Whirlpool dishwasher is about 8 years old and has been having problems cleaning. I checked the filters, cleaned the spray arms middle and bottom and then watched the arms.

The top small arm and the middle arm are clear and are not spinning. I have not removed the unit that brings water up from the base, nor the cover to the filter area.

I really don't want to get a new dishwasher right now but a repairman would be just about as high.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
