I noticed dishes not being cleaned well and found that the Smart Dispense wasn't dispensing. Contacted GE and they sent a procedure for purging the detergent holder. In following the directions which emphasizes that the heated dry, added heat and pre-wash led's are off (figured they didn't want the heaters on...duh). When the first run through was done I opened the door and got hit with a blast of heat as if the DW went through a heated dry cycle...it was HOT. Didn't cure the problem with the dispenser either. Is it possible that the computer has gone belly up and that the dispenser isn't clogged but rather is not getting proper commands from the computer? The excessive (?) heat might be an indicator of a larger problem. Anybody run into thei before? Again, the led's that were supposed to be off in fact were off but I still got heat. Thanks.
