The flame on my gas dryer would go out after roughly 15 seconds of being on. I bypassed the hi-temp thermostat and the flame stayed on.
I replaced it the next day and then the flame wouldn't come on at all.
I didn't smell any gas so I thought it might be the gas valve coils.
I replaced those and now there is gas that ignites, but I'm back to square 1 with the flame going out again after about 10-15 seconds.
Could it be something with the connections not being tight enough on the thermostat? I really don't know what to do at this point and I feel stuck.
Thanks for any help. - Cody
