I just bought the washer used and was told it worked great. Long story short, that was a lie. It dis not spin or agitate. I'm sort of a handy man so i figured i would fix the problem myself. I found the problem, but not sure how to fix it lol. When i first opened the back panel, i noticed the belt on the ground. I immediately went to fit it back on the the pulleys and saw that there were carvings in the back of the drum. Sure enough, they matched perfectly with the belt. I see black dust everywhere and on everything, so im assuming the belt has been shaved down over time to where it eventually just fell off. When i put the belt back on, it just works itself right back into grimding against the drum. What do i do?? Please help.
