Tub gets pumped down, but clothes often need to be wrung out before drying. Especially if a heavy load. When empty and holding down lid switch tub spins up to speed quickly and maintains top speed. Tub seems to drain fully all the time. Sometimes get some hot rubber smell. Tub will spin by hand with some moderate resistance in one direction and won't move at all in the opposite direction. No clicking or crunching heard. Sounds like a clutch to me and possibly coupler. With no apparently crunchy bits being heard am I safe to just do clutch and coupler replacements? Thanks for the help.
