The bottom element in the stove doesn't work. I've measured the element with an ohmmeter and it's reading 27 ohms, I'm not sure what a serviceable element is supposed to read. I've also measured the voltage at the element wires and it was reading 165 V AC. Can anyone tell me what the element resistance should be and what voltage should be at the connection. This is an old stove and as soon as you turn it on the top element is coming on unlike my other stove where the top element only comes on in broil. I presume the top element is coming on only to speed up the heating of the stove and would immediately shut off when the oven reached it's selected temperature.
