My washing machine would fill to near the top of the tub then stop filling and the drain pump would start and empty the machine next it would unlock the lid and just sit there. After trouble shooting and removing control counsel determined the level hose must have come loose from the control board (machine shakes when operational) after reinstalling hose installed control panel machine operates as design
