i have 3 a.o.smith hot water heaters they are 40 gals.each.they are on off peak.but on the week days we run out of hot water! i was going to test the heating elements and i noticed two of the heaters only had one element hooked up! the third one has both elements hooked up. is there a reason for that? we have four people in the house, we should not run out of hot water!
