Just came home from a trip. Kid house sitting said compactor door will not close (Ram stuck in down position), and now there is no power to the machine. I checked the fuse, and the power at the wall. THey are fine.

How do i know if the the motor is spent? I checked the circuit as instructed on centrifugial switch...looks like it works fine. In fact, I did the OHM meter on everything and it all looked fine. But, when plugged in...nothing. I didn't check the power in the top limit directional swith, but I did move the metal lever in..and still nothing.

Any idea what it could be? Is it really the motor, or am I missing something really easy?

Thanks for any help.
