Use an old lamp cord. splice spade terminals on the stripped ends. The icemake should advance once the mold is filled with water

You can advance the icemaker by putting a wire jumper between t and h pins on the module behind the cover.

I think I ran the icemaker thru a complete cycle with both my old and new valves and neither made any noise during the cycle. I'm stillnot sure of the details of how to apply the power to the valve. I checked the tubes before and was able to blow air thru them so I don't think it's a frozen line. Thanks

The icemaker actually started producing ice at a low level for awhile once I put theld valve back in but has now stopped again.
