Model EV201NZTQ purchased in May 2011 from Costco. There is a large buildup of ice on the bottom that builds up enough to freeze the storage basket in place. I defrosted it about 2 weeks ago and it already has an ice buildup of about 1/4” thick. It does not look like there has ever been any water in the ‘catch tray’ below the freezer compartment.
Here is some data that may help you in providing advice:
• The thermometer that I have placed in the unit varies from 0 degrees to -10 degrees.
• The unit is not located in a “temperature-controlled” room.
• It is about half full of frozen food.
• Air vents are not blocked (but ice blocks the upward flow from below the storage basket).
• Temperature control is set at 3.
I have had a previous freezer in this same location for many years and never had this icing problem.

I would appreciate any advice that you can offer.

I don't know how to delete this post - so consider it closed.
It appears to be something as simple as a distorted door seal.
