A few times over the last several weeks I've noticed a faint natural gas odor after the dryer has been running. I don't believe the source is the supply line since that could cause a consistent leak. The dryer is working well otherwise.
I don't think can I run the dryer while I have access to the relevant parts so I'm not sure how to identify the source of the problem. I figure the gas valve is the most likely suspect, but I'd rather not replace a $240 part unnecessarily.
Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
