I've purchased a new water inlet valve and I am experiencing difficultly getting to the part to replace it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Ken.

This is coming up as a direct drive Whirlpool. In that case remove the two screws at the back of the end plate caps and the console will come forward and tilt upward.

You can then take out the clips that hold the cabinet to the frame and access the valves.

Check the video library here for an instructional video on replacing the water valve on a Whirlpool.
