I have a Whirlpool dishwasher that is causing me some headache. When I push the start button the readout says 2 minutes remaining, it counts down to 0 the resets to 2 minutes over and over. I hear what sounds like a motor spinning from the bottom of the machine but I do not hear any water either entering the machine or being pumped out. I have come to a couple of possible causes but not real sure of either of them.
1. Inlet water valve assembly malfunctioning
2. Pump impeller broken.
3. Control panel circuit board malfunctioning.

I would appreciate any incite into possible issues before I start throwing money at this thing.
