Our refrigerator stopped cooling and repairman diagnosed it as a bad inverter. I noticed the price on new inverter is much cheaper than other appliance parts websites so I was wondering if I needed to buy harnesses in addition to the inverter (#903) or if the large difference in price is just my lucky day.

Wiring rarely fail, so I would suspect either a bad compressor or inverter.
you have a bad compressor If a new inverter fails to start the compressor
