Kenmore Elite Model 79558819900
Replace main circuit board

My refrigerator stopped working - no lights not cold, nada. Repair guy told me that it needs a new circuit board which I ordered from Sears Direct Parts. With ordinary shipping it arrived in 3 days. I called my repair guy and he wasn't available. So I decided to put the board myself. Challenge was I didn't know where the board is located.

After researching online etc. I realized that the main power cord is connected to the circuit board and viola - there it was on the top of the refrigerator. Replacing the board is very easy. You can look up videos on YouTube on how to replace circuit board to get an idea.

Hope this helps!
