Hi,

I am having trouble with a 2007 Monogram side by side. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

We noticed a couple of weeks ago that the ice in the ice bin was wet / melting. I did not give it much thought, dumped out the ice maker and started again. Last week it started doing it again.

I began monitoring the temperature and found it very erratic. The user interface would show like 2 degrees, but my thermometer in the freezer would show an actual temp of -10. Then I would check it the next day, the interface would show 4 but the actual was around 30. The fridge side was reading off a little too, but it was only 3 - 5 degrees off. This evening the freezer reads 0 and actual is 0, the fridge reads 41 but is 37.

Thought maybe the defrost cycle was not working properly. I checked the defrost element with an ohm meter and it read fine. I even monitored a defrost cycle last night and it seemed to work fine. Pulled the rear panel when it was through and it was defrosted.

Thanks for your help!
