So are you saying there is no way for me to know if I'm buying one of the old recall parts with the programming issue or I'm getting the newer one with the fix in place.
There is one on ******** for $94, one on Amazon for $99 and then plenty from Sears, Repair ************, ... for ~$140. Obviously my money is tight right now like everyone else but I surely don't want to buy one of the older recall parts. Maybe I need to buy from a more reputable firm then from ********.
Any suggestions?

Guys, My Kenmore uses a 6201ED1006L noise filter. Periodically the unit will go dark with no lights.
There is 120V to the noise filter but I didn't realized that it should be 120V coming out of the filter.
All I have to do is unplug the power connector into the filter and plug it in...and the unit powers up.
Is this intermittent power interruption a symptom of a bad noise filter?
