Garysfl - My fridge is having the same problem yours had. Bought the LG recommended part for the Overhead and PTC , but the overhead does not match the original one . I can not access the PTC as it is sealed in the assembly. Wondering how you were able to open it up to switch out the component with that of the [FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']Whirlpool W10189190 . I will be interested to try the same , but my concern is how to open the sealed assembly. Your advise is greatly appreciated.[/FONT]
