My stove/oven is about 35 years old and still looks new. Everything works, I am just trying to find a replacement oven door gasket. The repairman said I would be better off to get a new stove, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Anyone know of a supplier that might be able to help me?

Don't give up yet. I am assuming that this gasket is attached to the door. Below is the gasket that fits a JBP74DM unit, click on the picture for more views and info. Part number: AP2015869
Call the parts people at AppliancePartsPros, they have more info than what comes up on the site. Even if they cannot confirm that the above is the correct gasket I personally think it is worth a gamble that it is. Usually most parts are the same in a appliance series of units. |

Thanks for the encouragement. I will try what you say. I just hate that America's solution to everything is to ditch it and buy a new one. Guess it is proof that I am aging! THANKS for your help.
